Ribbed Chalet

Ribbed Chalet is a beachfront residence in Khairan designed to clearly separate public and private living zones while maintaining a fluid relationship between interior and exterior spaces. The architectural strategy emphasizes openness without compromising privacy.

Cantilevered shaded terraces extend the living areas outward, blurring the threshold between inside and outside and creating a seamless spatial transition. Textured walls, layered glazing, and multiple openings work together to shape light and shadow throughout the day, animating both the façade and interior spaces.

A restrained, light toned material palette is carried across the project, reinforcing a calm and cohesive environment while enhancing the experience of coastal living.
