Cobogo House
Cobogo House is a private villa in Funaitees defined by the use of a custom cobogo brick unit that introduces controlled porosity across the façade. The patterned brickwork allows light and air to filter through the otherwise solid mass, creating a layered relationship between enclosure and openness.
The cobogo wall acts as both envelope and threshold, mediating between interior and exterior spaces while reinforcing the villa’s monolithic presence. Through shifts in depth, texture, and transparency, the façade is softened without compromising privacy or clarity of form.
The project embraces a restrained architectural approach, where a single material strategy addresses environmental performance, spatial experience, and visual identity, resulting in a contemporary residence that balances solidity with permeability.
