Brickskin House

Brickskin House is a private family residence in Yarmouk conceived as a composition of interconnected volumes rather than a single monolithic form. The articulated massing introduces a more human scaled presence while allowing the house to unfold gradually across the site.

A series of brick walls subdivides the plot into smaller, intimate masses, creating a fluid spatial sequence between indoor and outdoor spaces. These brick elements wrap the volumes to act as both envelope and screen, providing privacy and solar shading while responding to the demands of the local climate.

The restrained material palette of brick and concrete is extended into the interior and softened with the introduction of wood, creating a warm and balanced living environment that supports both openness and comfort.
