Cascading House

Cascading House is a private residence in Al Masayel defined by a series of stacked horizontal cantilevers that shape the building’s presence and mediate light, shade, and privacy. The extended slabs respond directly to the sun path, creating shaded outdoor terraces while shielding key openings.

Balconies are integrated with slab cutouts and hanging planters, introducing layered views and vertical visual connections across the façade. These elements soften the strong horizontal geometry and bring vegetation into close dialogue with the living spaces.

Grooved finishes and a rich material palette amplify depth and shadow, reinforcing the architectural layering and enhancing the overall spatial and visual experience of the residence.
