Babnimnim Design Studio (BNN) was established in 2010 in Kuwait by Jassim Alsaddah, a graduate of the Architectural Association in London.
Tareq Hashim later joined as a partner, enhancing the studio's expertise. BNN is dedicated to producing internationally standard designs that focus on intricate details and effective branding from concept to completion. The studio's name, Babnimnim, encapsulates its philosophy: ‘Bab' from the Arabic meaning door; symbolizes the threshold that bridges external and internal environments, and 'Nimnim' from the Kuwaiti slang emphasizing meticulous attention to the smallest details, mirroring the precision of fine jewelry.

Our approach combines practical analysis with creative exploration of materials and forms, ensuring that our designs seamlessly integrate into their specific contexts while conveying compelling material narratives and spatial hierarchies. Specializing in commercial, residential, public, and hospitality sectors, particularly in interior architecture and design, BNN has grown to a team of 18, dedicated to refining design details that harmonize local cultural elements with contemporary practices. We adopt a comprehensive approach to projects, beginning with the conceptual story, which includes branding and logo design, and extending to the meticulous detailing of products and tableware for restaurants, as well as understanding the functional purposes of commercial spaces.
