Sumplusthings

Sumplusthings is a hybrid retail and dining concept in Riyadh that brings together two distinct programs through a unified material narrative. The design establishes a clear spatial distinction while allowing the two experiences to coexist within a cohesive interior framework.

The retail zone is defined by terrazzo platforms, stepped display landscapes, and marble pedestals that present curated homeware and accessories with clarity and hierarchy. Black metal shelving paired with blush toned screen backings wraps the double height columns, reinforcing verticality and visual rhythm within the space.

In contrast, the restaurant area shifts toward a deeper and more intimate atmosphere through richer textures and darker tones. Plush carpeting and deep blue metal elements introduce warmth and enclosure, completing a layered interior that balances visual storytelling with functional clarity.
